Face reconstruction of [Richard I of England](https://www.worldhistory.org/Richard_I_of_England/) (the Lionheart, r. 1189-1199), based on the funerary effigy in Rouen Cathedral. He also ruled as Duke of Normandy, Aquitaine and Gascony, Lord of [Cyprus](https://www.worldhistory.org/cyprus/), and Count of Poitiers, Anjou, Maine, and Nantes, and was overlord of Brittany.
