Bucrania or bull's horn decorations were installed in some of the houses of the [Neolithic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Neolithic/) proto-[city](https://www.worldhistory.org/city/), [Ҫatalhöyük](https://www.worldhistory.org/Catalhoyuk/), in central [Turkey](https://www.worldhistory.org/Asia_Minor/), inhabited between c. 7400 and c. 5600 BCE.
