The November 1720 trial notice of [John Rackham](https://www.worldhistory.org/Calico_Jack/) (aka '[Calico Jack](https://www.worldhistory.org/Calico_Jack/)'), [Anne Bonny](https://www.worldhistory.org/Anne_Bonny/) and [Mary Read](https://www.worldhistory.org/Mary_Read/). Issued as part of a pamphlet by the authorities of Jamaica a few days after the trial. All three were found guilty. Rackham was hanged but the two [women](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/women/) escaped their sentence because each was pregnant.
