Dion Sanctuary of Isis, Greece — The Sanctuary of Isis at Dion in Macedonia (Greece) was built during the 2nd century CE over the ruins of an earlier sanctuary dedicated to Aphrodite and Artemis. It had a four-columned prostyle temple in its center dedicated to Isis Lochia, the goddess protecting women following childbirth, with a wide porch at the same level as the courtyard.
