Statues from the Etowah [Native American](https://www.worldhistory.org/Native_Peoples_of_North_America/) prehistoric site in Georgia, USA. The statues are thought to represent the spirits of one's ancestors as ancestor worship seems to have been a part of religious ritual at the site which flourished c. 1000-c. 1550 CE.
