A [Minoan](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Minoan/) rock-crystal bowl in the form of a duck, 16th century BCE. The vessel was found at [Mycenae](https://www.worldhistory.org/mycenae/) but has been attributed to the earlier [Minoan civilization](https://www.worldhistory.org/Minoan_Civilization/) based on [Crete](https://www.worldhistory.org/crete/). The vessel was probably used to store cosmetic creams. (National Archaeological Museum, [Athens](https://www.worldhistory.org/Athens/)).
