Glendalough Cathedral, [Ireland](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Ireland/). The remains of the cathedral on the grounds of Glendalough monastic site is one of the largest remaining ancient churches in Ireland, where part of the structure dates back to the 10th century CE. This church was originally dedicated to [Saint Paul](https://www.worldhistory.org/Paul_the_Apostle/) and [Saint Peter](https://www.worldhistory.org/Saint_Peter/) but was converted into a cathedral during the 13th century CE.
