## Image Caption

A [Celtic](https://www.worldhistory.org/celt/) tripartite carinated [pottery](https://www.worldhistory.org/pottery/) vessel. These vessels are made from three separate pieces, each with straight sides, which when assembled create an angular form. This example was found in a [grave](https://www.worldhistory.org/burial/) in the Marne region of northern France and dates to the 5th century BCE. Height: 18.2 cm. (British Museum, London)
