Faqra, Lebanon [Site 1] — The archaeological site of Faqra in Lebanon, located in the Nahr El-Kalb valley region in the north of Beirut. Its most impressive ruins are of the monumental temple–sanctuary dedicated to a deity named Zeus Beelgalasos, the local Baal of Faqra.
