The term “First Thanksgiving” refers to the account of the 1621 event as given by the [Plymouth Colony](https://www.worldhistory.org/Plymouth_Colony/)’s chroniclers [William Bradford](https://www.worldhistory.org/William_Bradford/) (l. 1590-1657) and [Edward Winslow](https://www.worldhistory.org/Edward_Winslow/) (l. 1595-1655) in Mourt’s Relation.
