Santa Maria di Loreto, [Rome](https://www.worldhistory.org/Rome/). The church was designed by the Italian Renaissance architect Antonio da Sangallo the Younger (1484-1546). Construction began on this church in 1507, although the dome would not be completed for around 75 years.
