The painting depicts the legendary [King Arthur](https://www.worldhistory.org/King_Arthur/)'s knights of the Round Table embarking on their quest to recover the Holy Grail. It is part of the Part of the "Abbey Room Murals: The Quest and Achievement of the Holy Grail" by by Edwin Austin Abbey (1852-1911 CE).
