The Ceide Fields Interpretative Centre was opened in 1993 CE and received the [Europa](https://www.worldhistory.org/Europa/) Nostra Diploma of Merit in 1997 CE. This impressive [pyramid](https://www.worldhistory.org/pyramid/)-shaped building is a 60 ft high, multi-award-winning centre, which explains the background and the [archaeology](https://www.worldhistory.org/Archaeology/) of the Ceide Fields, near Ballycastle, Co.
