## Image Caption

The ancient Persian tradition of drinking or pouring wine from rhyta (drinking horns) was eagerly adopted in Classical [Greece](https://www.worldhistory.org/greece/) – despite the great political enmity between Greece and [Persia](https://www.worldhistory.org/Persia/). In the [Hellenistic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Hellenic_World/) Age, rhyta in different materials remained popular.
