Marine [mosaic](https://www.worldhistory.org/Mosaic/) floor decorating the apodyterium (changing room) of the [women](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/women/)'s baths in [Herculaneum](https://www.worldhistory.org/Herculaneum/). The Central Baths at Herculaneum were built around the beginning of the 1st century CE and were divided, as was then the common practice, into men's and women's baths, each with their own separate entrances.
