## Image Caption

A 19th century CE Tibetan [mandala](https://www.worldhistory.org/mandala/), a tool used in some [Buddhist](https://www.worldhistory.org/buddhism/) schools and also in [Hindu](https://www.worldhistory.org/hinduism/) and Jain tradition. Mandalas are ritual images designed to facilitate different psychophysical practices such as meditation.
