## Image Caption

A stained glass window depicting [Thomas Becket](https://www.worldhistory.org/Thomas_Becket/) (also known as St. Thomas of Canterbury; c. 1119 - 1170 CE). Thomas Becket was the archbishop of Canterbury from 1162 - 1170 CE, and is well known for his conflict with [Henry II of England](https://www.worldhistory.org/Henry_II_of_England/) (r. 1154 - 1189 CE) over the rights and powers of the church in [England](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/england/). Becket was eventually murdered in the Canterbury Cathedral by four knights who believed they were acting in Henry II's best interests. From the former seminary chapel of Ushaw College in Durham, England.
