## Image Caption

The upper part of the head is lost. This statue is one of the earliest large-scale sculptures from [Vulci](https://www.worldhistory.org/Vulci/). It was created under the influence of [Greek](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/greek/)-Daedalic [sculpture](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Sculpture/). The hairstyle and jewelry are based on oriental antetypes. From Vulci, [Italy](https://www.worldhistory.org/italy/). Nenfro (tuff). Circa 610 BCE. It is on display at the Altes Museum in Berlin, Germany.
