Cartonnage, painted, and gilded mummy mask of Pasyg (or Pa-remet-syg; [Greek](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/greek/), Promsiko). The mask of Pa-remet-syg is the only one from Meir which mentions the name of the deceased, on the back, in a demotic [script](https://www.worldhistory.org/script/). It also mentions the name of his father Pshentahe in [Egyptian](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Egyptian/). The script also states the funeral date; on the 25th of Choiak and on the morning of the 26th of Choiak. From Meir, Asyut, [Egypt](https://www.worldhistory.org/egypt/). Early [Roman](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Roman/) period, 1st century CE. It is on display at the Neues Museum, Berlin, Germany.
