## Image Caption

The Doric [temple](https://www.worldhistory.org/temple/) attributed to [Juno](https://www.worldhistory.org/Juno/) Lacinia but dating from c. 450 BCE, [Agrigento](https://www.worldhistory.org/agrigento/), [Sicily](https://www.worldhistory.org/sicily/). The columns are a good example of entasis - the thickening at the base and centre of columns to give the optical illusion of being perfectly perpendicular when seen from a distance.
