The "Battersea Shield" is a [bronze](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/bronze/) [Celtic](https://www.worldhistory.org/celt/) shield facing from the 4th - 1st Century BCE. The shield facing is decorated with red enamel in the [La Tene](https://www.worldhistory.org/La_Tene_Culture/) style, and was probably made in [Britain](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/Britain/). From the British Museum in London.
