# Stična Breastplate

## Image Caption
The Stična Breastplate is a 6th Century BCE [bronze](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/bronze/) cuirass from Stična, Slovenia. The cuirass is decorated with anatomical details, not unlike a [Greek](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/greek/) "muscle cuirass". The breastplate comes from a [Hallstatt](https://www.worldhistory.org/Hallstatt_Culture/) warrior's [grave](https://www.worldhistory.org/burial/).
This piece is part of the collection of the Museum of Prehistory and Early History (Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte), one of the State Museums of Berlin.
