The ruins of Warsama’s [palace](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/palace/), King of Kanesh, at Kültepe in central [Turkey](https://www.worldhistory.org/Asia_Minor/), the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Kanesh and centre of a complex network of Assyrian [trade](https://www.worldhistory.org/disambiguation/trade/) colonies in the 2nd millennium BCE. The palace is one of the oldest examples of the Anatolian/[Hittite](https://www.worldhistory.org/hittite/) palaces dating back to 1800-1750 BCE.
