My son has had some difficulties with solving word problems; I thought some problem books would help.

This series of books contain historical contest problems from American Math Competition (AMC) and its predecessors. These problems are more difficult than what one would find in textbooks and require deeper thinking. They definitely help my son achieve a better understanding of all subjects in high-school math.
