I am really enjoyed this book and can't wait to share it with my children. It's wonderful to read about the diligence and dedication of past heroes - and how they overcame great obstacles to rise from average to great. Love that Isaac Newton's faith is central to the story - can't wait to try more of these! :)

Oliver Cromwell, English Civil War, King Charles I, The Plague, London's Fire, Halley's Comet and more are all put into the context of Sir Isaac Newton's life. Science mixed with History, Religion and Biography are held together by an engaging story which can be enjoyed by all ages. I highly recommend this book.

Newton was an unusual guy. I studied the physics many moons ago, but knew little about the man. Read Tiner's Kepler book first because Newton built on Kepler.

It is a good book as to the life of Isaac Newton. What was interesting was his mother leaving him with her mother and sister to marriage the minister to save the farm for her family.
