    Jennifer Davison is a freelance illustrator. She lives in Northern Ireland and works in her little studio, surrounded by children’s books, toys and numerous hot cups of tea.

    As a child Jennifer was always drawing, imagining and creating. She has been telling stories through pictures for as long as she can remember.

    Jennifer began her career as a digital artist in an animation studio in Belfast, working on a variety of projects for children’s TV. Jennifer’s passion for illustration then led her to pursue a career as a children's book illustrator working on a number of picture books for publishers across the world.

    Tim was born in 1957 in Manchester, UK and grew up enjoying the seaside delights of Southport. He studied Philosophy and Theology at Bristol University in the 1970s, and then trained as a journalist, working on a wide variety of magazines, newspapers and journals which took him regularly to the Middle East.

    Over the years, he has given himself to writing for a huge variety of different media, including plays, video scripts, fiction, yes, and even poetry. But his chief passion is to explore in writing about the big life issues of God, meaning, and eternity.

    Tim is the Publishing Director of The Good Book Company, where he works with a team of eight writers, editors and designers to create books and resources that clearly, carefully and succinctly express the core truths of the Christian faith from the Bible.

    Tim has been married to Kathy since 1991, and has three adult daughters. He lives in a leafy suburb in South West London and enjoys long walks with friends.

We love Tim Thornborough’s collection of Bible stories but this one takes the cake. My kids both crack up at the noises that are written when the whale spits out Jonah. Make no mistake though, this book also helped them understand God’s love for everyone! Well written, beautifully illustrated, and would absolutely recommend!

 If I’m being honest what sold me on the Very best bible stories collection, is the fact that the biblical characters are illustrated in true color which I love! The illustrations are beautiful my kids love it and the give all the oos and ahi’s the can muster. They are hard cover with no gloss, so Cheetos fingers can definitely leave a mark. These books are great base for teaching young minds biblical truths. Jonah being retold like this in such color is amazing. This will definitely grow their vocabulary as it will introduce them to synonyms to words the rare hearing everyday( ex in pictures). By the time they get familiar with this story, their vocabulary will be astonishing!
